The Long Island Music and Entertainment Hall of Fame is proud to open its doors to an awe-inspiring new facility in Stony Brook, NY that is dedicated to the recognition, honor, and preservation of Long Island’s music and entertainment heritage. Since 2004, our organization has Inducted over 120 music artists and related professionals who will now be recognized in a permanent home.
The space—covering 8,800 square feet—features a large exhibition area, theater, performance area, and an official “Hall of Fame Museum.”

Freddy Monday to perform on our stage in celebration of his new single, “Passing By Hours”
Freddy Monday, Long Island singer/songwriter, composer, and producer will be celebrating the release of his new single, “Passing By Hours”, on our stage on April 21st at 3 pm. The official music video filmed at a few sunflower fields on Long Island’s east end will be shown prior to his performance. Freddy’s music, incorporating elements of melodic pop and rock has earned him a loyal following throughout his extensive career.
Aside from releasing four studio albums and seven singles, Monday is owner/operator of Endo Music, an award winning music production and publishing company. With a specialty in music for film, TV and advertising, Freddy has had his music featured in a wide array of projects – securing hundreds of TV show placements – over 80,000,000 streams and landing several compositions in movies. Among them, his song “There Were Times” was featured in the film and soundtrack of the Steve Jobs bio pic “Jobs”; and for the ending theme song on the Nickelodeon Emmy-winning show The Loud House, Endo Music won the ASCAP Screen Music Awards for Top Television Series. .
Born and raised on Long Island, Monday has worked with a bountiful variety of music industry pros both on stage and in the studio, including an impromptu 3 hr. performance with Jimmy Buffett at his Margaritaville Cafe in Key West, and with Davy Jones of the Monkees, who appeared in Monday’s music video. “I Want To Be Your Davy Jones.”

The happiest discovery for me this summer was the arrival of the Mountain Maidens cd “We’ll Walk The Road Together.” Their vocal clarity along with creative and striking arrangements gives a new freshness to a wide variety of older songs. They are my new favorite women’s trio — a great group.

Three dynamic voices blended in splendid ancient and modern harmonies that will lift your spirit, excite your senses and warm your heart. They sing ballads, folk songs, Medieval, Irish Traditional music, love songs, country and gospel songs including themes of social justice to the accompaniment of guitars, banjo, dulcimer, bouzouki, dumbec, spoon, castanets and lots of percussion instruments including washboard. They met at Swing The Teapot Irish Pub in Floral park where they were singing Irish music for St. Patrick’s day they knew right then and there they would be a trio. There was instant magic, harmony and camaraderie. Marie plays just about every string and percussion instrument there is (guitar, banjo, mandolin, dulcimer, Irish Bouzouki, dumbec, bones and spoons) and sings British and American folksongs and Jewish music. Candice (Candy) Baranello is a member of the Long Island group Wild Ginger. She plays dulcimer, washboard, and bodhran and sings traditional, Old Timey, classical and gospel. Lorraine is a member of the Huntington Choral Society, plays guitar and flamenco castanets, dance board and sings in a beautiful alto. They are accompanied at special concerts by Harpist, guitarist and vocalist, Jean Farnworth and Irish Fiddler Madelaine Dillon and other talented musicians when called upon. Karen Bella, is a NYC & Long Island-based performing and recording artist, who crosses genres in her songwriting, while having a strong foundation in the “classics.” Her hard work, beautiful voice, and experience with live performances, all attribute to turning all eyes and ears in the room to her when she’s on stage.
Bella began studying music performance and acting in elementary school. She started booking recording sessions by 9 years old and was writing songs at age 12. After college, she pursued music full-time, releasing her first album, Ordinary Girl in 2013, Karen Bella, self-titled EP (produced by Josh Dion) in 2020, and the single, “Rise Up,” (produced by Dion) in 2023, which currently has over 55.7k streams on Spotify. She continues to perform throughout the tri-state area playing such notable venues as the Rockwood Music Hall, The Bitter End, the Landmark Theater in Port Washington, Great South Bay Music Festival and the Philadelphia Music Festival, Spotlight at The Paramount (opening for Hannah Wicklund) and is currently working on the follow up releases for 2024. In October 2023, Karen had a show-stopping performance at The Bitter End in NYC, with musicians, David Cook, Josh Dion, Brian Killeen, and Teddy Kumpel.
From a recent interview, Bella expressed that, “I’m lucky that I get to share my love for Folk, Rock, R&B, Pop, and Country music to its fullest. My shows and albums represent these little chapters of my life and give the fans and audience a glimpse into my heart and mind. My goal as a songwriter is to have a positive effect on the listener, because music has been a miraculous coping mechanism for me, helping all of us to fight the sadness and anxiety that follow traumatic life events.”
Bella was named a Sam Ash “Spotlight Artist in 2019,” becoming an official Fishman-endorsed artist (2019). She was also a Yamaha Guitar Ambassador in 2022 and in the same year she became an Elixir Strings Artist. In June 2022 and April of 2023, Bella was chosen to perform at NAMM (National Association of Music Merchants) in Anaheim, CA. Most recently, she was nominated as Best Singer From Long Island 2023, by the Town of Bethpage. The self-titled EP, Karen Bella, charted #30 in the Folk Alliance International Charts and received commercial airplay in 2022. The single, “Indio,” charted #2 on the World Indie Music Charts in 2023, including more than 31.7k streams on spotify.

Teddy played guitar on the Grammy winning album “Home” by Tim Kubart, sang backgrounds with Nine Inch Nails on the MTV music awards, toured and/or recorded with Joe Jackson, Rickie Lee Jones, Goodie Mob, Feist, Toots Hibbert, played on many soundtracks including Anchorman and Talladega Nights, produced, engineered and helped develop many artists all while nurturing his own art and unique vision over his 30 year + career.
