Barry Fisch has been involved in the music industry on Long Island for over forty years, first as the music director of his college radio station WNYT, on the campus of the New York Institute of Technology in Old Westbury. After numerous positions at a variety of Long Island-based music stores and distributors, he settled in at one of the major label distribution companies, Polygram Records. Additionally, Barry works as a music video archivist and has received numerous credits supplying archival footage not just to the Long Island Music and Entertainment Hall of Fame and the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, but for television networks and independent film companies as well. Barry is also a published journalist and photographer, currently working with various music-related publications and websites worldwide. He also recently did a stint as General Manager of the club My Father’s Place in Roslyn. Barry resides in Hicksville.
