Norm Prusslin

Norm Prusslin is the director of the Media and Interdisciplinary Arts Minor/Living Learning Center programs at Stony Brook University. A member of the SBU staff/faculty for 47 years, Prusslin has also served as general manager of WUSB 90.1FM and is an advisor to all student media organizations at SBU. Additionally, Prusslin is Chairman/President Emeritus of the Intercollegiate Broadcasting System (the nation’s largest college radio station membership organization) and is a member of the Board of Directors of the Long Island Press Club chapter of the Society of Professional Journalists. He is a member of College Media Advisors, the Radio-TV News Directors Association, and the Broadcast Education Association. Prusslin held an adjunct teaching appointment at Five Towns College and is a recipient of the Long Island Music and Entertainment Hall of Fame’s Long Island Sound Award for lifetime contributions to the music community on Long Island.
