The daughter of legendary blues singer and songwriter Sam “Bluzman” Taylor, Sandra Taylor has been singing coast to coast and internationally for over 20 years. She presently sings with two renowned ’60s doo-wop groups, The Toys and The Cookies. When she is not touring, she can be seen singing in various styles of music around the New York tri-state area, including with her late father’s band, A Band Called SAM, on Long Island. A resident of Islandia, New York, Taylor is a retired New York City middle school principal.
